Made in California, the Alpha product line is now made by incorporating Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ alpha construction.

You may have heard of Bureo from their skateboard decks made of reclaimed fishing nets from Chile.

Similarly the new NetPlus fin material is sourced from Bureo’s fishing net recycling program in Chile, which provides collection points to keep plastic fishing nets out of our oceans.

The Controller Alpha is a large size quad set with a Ride Number of 5.7. Designed specifically for the classic, wide-tailed retro board the Alpha Controller is effectively a split keel and offers a unique blend of twin and quad characteristics.

We are offering the new Alpha Controller fins as an upgrade option on the R-Series Surfboards, or as a stand-alone fin set, here.

Playful fins!

I got this fins for my R-series (thanks almond for sending me a remplacement find box) that little board its a blast with this fins! I almost feel that was flying at full speed on a 2 ft wave!

Perfect addition to the R-Series

What a great fin set. Bridging the gap between a twin keel and a standard quad set they offer up heaps of drive while still being extremely manouvable. I was a bit skeptical when first getting them out of the packet but as soon as they were in the box you could see the great flex characteristics. The recycled construction method is an added bonus and nicely ties into the r-series ethos too. All in all a solid purchase
