6’0 Special Recipe Fish
Been eyeing a Special Recipe Fish for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger and got it in the water. What a great board, paddles well, has tons of speed and is an absolute joy to surf. I am surfing winters in NH and Maine so decided on a 6’0 and it fits our waters perfectly. As always, the glass and attention to detail is on point. Really well weighted board!
Sea Kitten, Special Recipe, Joy, Surf Thump
I’ve been working on my collection over the last few years and I have to say that I haven’t been disappointed yet. I started with the 7’6 Joy, the name really does say it all. The amount of waves I get on that board never ceases to amaze me. Then came my favorite custom baby- the 5’6 Special Recipe Fish. I can’t go in or out of the water without someone stopping me and asking me about this board. The color is a super light pink/**** and people always comment on it. It’s so smooth on the waves and feels like you are gliding. Next I purchased a 9’5 surf thump. I love this board as it’s almost I don’t even have to paddle and just a few steps to the nose and boom all of a sudden you are nose riding and you didn’t have to try that hard. This board does all the heavy lifting for you. And the latest addition is my 5’2 Sea Kitten. This board rides different than the Special recipe. It’s so fun to switch them out or let friends try them. Then they always want to go to Almond to buy one. My collection is still growing but I love these boards so much. Thanks for making the funnest boards in the world guys!!

Awesome products
I have a 5'8 Special Recipe Fish that I love. Have taken it to Costa Rica and it's in the bag ready for a Puerto Rico trip in January. Great quality and rides phenomenal. In addition I own a couple hats and shirts from Almond. Shirts are great quality and my "2 feet and firing" has been a conversation starter.
Perfect fish
Incredibly happy with this board. I live in southern Maine and this fish is exactly what I needed for an everyday driver. Tons of float, easy to paddle, very fast and still has tons of performance. Very happy with my purchase.
Beauty Matters
Picked up a luscious 5'10" Special Recipe Fish in March and have had a great time with it in a variety of conditions all summer. Yes it paddles well, catches waves easily, and is super fun to ride as a (for me) shorter board. But beyond that, it is just so damn good looking - I just kind of want to stare at it all day long. Thanks for bring the beauty - it's a gift that keeps on giving.
