My custom mini-WOW was my second board purchase from Almond. I was ready to move from my R-design Almond Joy and wanted a custom paint job. My board is a masterpiece blending the aesthetics I was looking for and performance. The craftsmanship is unparalleled, with an impeccable finish and detail. The board balances responsiveness with stability and was exactly what I needed for my typical smallish wave searching. A true gem!
Who said longboards needed to be...long?!
I got a 7'6 Mini WoW a couple of days ago and after a single session at my local point break spot here in California it has already become one of my all time favorite boards! It is exactly what I wanted it to be: a mini longboard that paddles and catches waves with ease, yet a lot more loose and lively than a traditional longboard. All the rewards/benefits and none of the drawbacks/risks of a huge and heavy log. The waves were not even that good when I paddled out but I still had a blast - I was even able to get a few out in the 'short boarders' zone without being called out lol 👀 This is just a revolutionary board. Bravo, Almond!

Gotta say, that I was incredibly excited to pick up my 7’4” Mini Wow and I have not been disappointed. It is a wave catching machine and super fun to ride.

Started surfing 3 years ago at the age of 56. Been on a 7' foamy and was a little trepidatious about transitioning to a 'real' board. First off, Erica was amazing! She patiently spent more than an hour with me answering questions and discussing every possible scenario. The short of it is that this board is every bit as good as the description. Easy to paddle, super stable, smooth, fast, really responsive and easy to turn. Holds the line and hard tail helps me stay high on the wave. Does great in mushy waves as well steeper waves. Super happy with this board!
