Love at first wave!
My 9‘6“ custom Almond Logistic paddles like a Ferrari, glides through chop smooth as a Cadillac and carves like a Shun chef knife. Although I‘ve taken her out only five times, I think it’s fair to say she is a “magic“ board. Do I recommend the Almond Logistic? You bet I do. But you can’t have mine! (PS. The logistic is a great board
Recently moved to the area and was looking for a new board. I had some friend’s recommend taking a look at Almond and I ended up getting a brand new logistic from them. Guys in the shop were super chill and knowledgeable, I did not feel pressured to buy. I have been mainly riding SanO and DoHo and the board has been extremely fun. It’s stable enough to catch a lot of different waves, but nimble enough to walk out front or cut back. I got it in the cactus tint green color and get compliments all the time. Very happy with the purchase and experience.
Sick Board
Picked up a used one being resold at Almond HQ. Didn't really know what I was getting into, since I had been gunning for a surf thump originally. Turns out, this thing is sick! I wanted to get a thicker board initially, since I'm getting older and slower... and heavier, but I found it pretty easy to catch waves on this. I catch just about everything I go for. Not only that, but the craftsmanship on this is fantastic. Easily the best longboard I've owned, and probably the best one I've ever ridden. Highly recommend this board. Ridden it at breaks from Eureka to San Diego, and it's a blast.
my tried and true
i got my 9’6 logistic on a whim in 2018 and let me tell you… this is the ONE! I’m an intermediate long boarder and this performance shape was a bit of a learning curve not gonna lie. but once I got past, I’m never looking back. It really is so fun and you can maneuver and play around with it on most waves that come through San Diego. I’ve learned so much about the joy of surfing on this thing and I couldn’t be more stoked. Also It gets a lot of well deserved attention in the water because it’s a beauty
9'8 Logistic
Jeff and the Almond team crafted up a 9'8 Logistic for me just in time for the summer mush on the east coast. This thing is too fun. I threw a wider 9" fin for a little more hold and the board still turns super well. Catching everything on those 2 foot days and still able to navigate and hold the pocket when the surf has a bit more bite!
