The board missing from every point break quiver

This board is magic, no other way of saying it. Paddling into long peeling point breaks is a dream, and once you’re flying down the line the board feels lively and fun. This was my go to board for intermediate surfing and stays as one of my favorite boards I pull out continuously when the tide is a bit high, the waves are fast, or I just want to have a great time. If you’re looking for a board to take on your next step from a longboard this would be my go to. From knee high to overhead it always holds and gets in early and often. As always the quality is top notch from Almond and the resin tint looks great. I’m 165lbs and have the 7’2” .

7’ 6” Beach Chicken

I custom ordered a Beach Chicken and the whole process went super smooth. Board turned out perfect in every aspect from shape, glassing and the perfect resin tint! This is my go to board and definitely exceeded any expectations. Super fun in any conditions. Being my second custom Almond crafted board I’m already thinking about my third to add to the quiver. 🤙�

Fun Board!

I took this board out the other day, and I had a great time. The tide was high, and the waves didn’t really want to break. But I was having fun winning every paddle battle against everyone on their shortboards. So whether you simply are interested in having a high wave count or you are looking for a board to transition from a single fin longboard to a tri-fin shortboard then this mid-length twin fin is the board for you.

Thanks for reaching out! I just updated the dimensions for all Beach Chickens between 7'0 and 8'0.

A 7'6 Beach Chicken will size out to 22 5/8" wide by 2 7/8" thick with 56.0 L of Volume!

Hey Almonders, I'm looking for a Beach Chicken that's about 8' in length, what would dimensions be for this size? I just submitted a question asking about 7'6 but am equally as curious about the 8 foot. Liam

Thanks for reaching out, we've gone as big as 8'6 so an 8'0 is not a problem.

Here are the dimensions: 80x22 5/8x2 7/8 approx 60.2L

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the Beach Chicken! Both a Keel style fin, as well as a more upright Twin can work on a Beach Chicken depending on the feel/responsiveness that you prefer.

We typically suggest starting with the True Ames Keel (that is included with the board) but the TA Twin is also a great option for more responsive feel & snappier turns.
