I’m cheating on my longboard with the Sea Kitten.
I’ve always surfed longboards because I never imagined I’d have the skill level to surf anything short. (I’m 5’8, 165 lbs, beginner/intermediate level) So I was a bit nervous picking up a 5’2 Sea Kitten but I wanted to switch things up in my quiver. After my first session, I was hooked on this thing! Incredible down the line speed & paddles amazingly. It catches everything. The Sea Kitten has become my daily driver over the last several months. I just can’t get off of it. I highly recommend this board to any longboarder out there wanting to get on something short. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks, Almond!

My friends decided to order me a custom surfboard as a wedding gift this year and the said any model I wanted (because they too have custom almond boards). So I thought all the way back to when I found out about Almond Surfboards in like 2015 or so, I was obsessed with the Sea Kitten. So I picked it and I’m so glad I did! The glass on Keels are incredible and it catches like every wave I paddle for! I live in Melbourne FL so I need all the speed I can get, and this thing has loads of it, and is super responsive for maximum shred-ability. I’m so happy with my 5’2 little yellow fish, it’s such a stunner and I get compliments at the beach all the time. Thanks Almond for making incredible boards!

feels like riding a skateboard
I picked up a 4'10 Sea Kitten because I was looking for a fish I could use on those smaller mushy days. After the first session I had with this board I knew it would become my board of choice for anything below head-high because of how well it worked in the pocket. The extra volume it has makes it super easy to get into waves early (which is especially helpful for those faster waves like Newport). The Sea Kitten has a really loose skate-y feel to it so it's super easy to generate speed while still maintaining control.
